ARE YOU the king or queen of pie baking, here's the chance to prove it!

August 1st is the deadline for entering the 2nd Annual Snohomish Farmers Market Fruit Pie Contest. To Register tell us the type of pie you will be entering, include your name, phone, address and email SnohomishFarmersMarket@gmail.com

The event is scheduled for Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Snohomish Farmers Market, 1st and Cedar in Historic downtown Snohomish @ the Carnegie site. Print a flyer click here

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Judging begins at 4:30 PM. Winners will be announced after judging completed; prizes to be awarded at that time- approximately 6:00PM. 

 Rules for the Bake Off

1. Use fresh in-season fruit for filling.
2. Pie crust must be homemade of flour & shortening.
3. Recipes to be included for both the filling and crust.
4. Amateur bakers only. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

All pies must be brought to the Snohomish Farmers Market for judging and checked in by 3:00 PM, August 4th. Pies will be sold to raise money for the Snohomish Food Bank.
